1. Temporal WKT for Calendars SWG
2. Purpose of this Standards Working Group
The purpose of this standards working group is to adapt a set of existing standards to provide the capability to represent and encode temporal metadata within data sets and protocols which uses a customised calendar.
Testbed 14 Sponsors will document initiative requirements, which will be described in detail in a Call for Participation (CFP). Participants will be selected to develop corresponding prototype deliverables that implement new / updated prototype interface and encoding specifications, which will be used to recommend new OGC standards or revisions to existing OGC standards, as well as best practices for using these standards.
