OGC Announces Webinar on 2010 "Data Fusion" Testbed, Seeks Sponsors for 2011 Testbed

Wayland, MA, 28 July 2010. The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC®) recently concluded the OGC Web Services, Phase 7 (OWS-7) Testbed initiative. Interoperability architectures, enhancements to existing OGC standards, and candidate standards developed in the testbed for sensors, video change detection, database synchronization, information cataloguing, web processing services, event architecture and aviation will be presented in a 2 hour webinar.

The OGC Seeks Participants for 3D Portrayal Interoperability Experiment

OGC Australia & New Zealand Forum Announced

9 July 2012 - The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) announced that OGC members in the Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) region, with the assistance of the Australian and New Zealand Land Information Council (ANZLIC), recently chartered an Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) Forum to support regional coordination and communication regarding geospatial standardisation activities.

OGC requests scenarios for Crisis Management ICT Workshop

21 January 2015 - The OGC and Fraunhofer IOSB have organized the Geospatial ICT Support for Crisis Management and Response workshop at ISCRAM 2015. The workshop organizers invite participation and they invite participants to submit crisis scenario descriptions. These will be used to demonstrate the effectiveness of existing international geospatial data encoding and service standards.

OGC requests comment on draft charter for Hydrologic Features Standards Working Group

23 June 2015. Members of the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC®) request comments on the draft charter for an OGC Hydrologic Features (HY_Features) Standards Working Group (SWG). The purpose of the proposed SWG is to progress the HY_Features hydrologic feature model to the state of an adopted OGC standard for a common and stable identification and referencing of hydrologic features.
