Wayland, MA, May 26, 2004 - OGC Request 19: OpenGISĀ® GO-1 Application Objects (GO-1) Implementation Specification: Decision Support Working Group, A Request for Comments The purpose of this Request for Comment (RFC) is to obtain comments on the proposal for technologies and interfaces required for the OpenGIS GO-1 Application Objects (GO-1) Implementation Specification. This draft specification can be found at: http://www.opengeospatial.org/specs/?page=requests&request=rfc19. This specification is a result of the OGC Geographic Objects Initiative, which was established to develop an open set of common, lightweight, language-independent abstractions for describing, managing, rendering, and manipulating geometric and geographic objects within an application programming environment. Under this request, comments are sought from industry, for a thirty (30) day period ending 25 May 2004, concerning this technology.
