GEOINT Symposium - Texas, USA
GEOINT 2019 will be held June 2-5 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas. USGIF’s GEOINT Symposium is the preeminent event of the year for the defense, intelligence and homeland security communities.
Hosted and produced by the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF), a non-profit, non-lobbying educational organization, the annual GEOINT Symposium is the nation’s largest gathering of industry, academia, and government to include Defense, Intelligence and Homeland Security Communities as well as commercial, Fed/Civil, State and Local geospatial intelligence stakeholders.
USGIF is offering GEOINT attendees training and professional development opportunities on a variety of topics. Each training session is two hours.
As part of this, OGC is running an e-Learning training session on the "Efficient Use of Standards-Based Interfaces and Encodings in Geospatial Intelligence." It will run 7am-9am Monday June 3.
This training session will provide participants with an end-to-end tutorial on the application of OGC standards that have been adapted by National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) specifications. The aim of the training session is to enable GEOINT professionals to more efficiently use standards-based interfaces and encoding formats to solve geospatial problems. By equipping GEOINT professionals with the skills to identify and apply OGC standards, this training course will improve the professionals’ ability to meet challenges within their day-to-day work.
Trainings are add-ons and not included in the Symposium Pass registration. Each training session is $25 for USGIF Members and $35 for USGIF Non-Members. To register please see: http://geoint2019.com/about/Register.
