The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Met-Ocean Domain Working Group (DMG) in partnership with the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) is hosting a Summit as part of the OGC’s June 2014 Technical Committee meeting in Geneva, Switzerland on 12 June 2014.  

 

The Summit agenda will cover:

 

An introduction to the United Nations in particular the relationship between WMO & UNEP

WMO Structure – Commission & Regional Associations

Major programmes of work – WWW, WIS, WIGOS

Liaisons – HMEI & GEO/GEOSS

 

There will be opportunity to discuss how each of these organisations are working together and to raise the interoperability issues that are being faced by the Met-Ocean community.

 

The Summit is open to both OGC Members and non-members who wish to participate.
