NASA is conducting the third annual International Space Apps Challenge, a “codeathon”-style event on April 12-13 at nearly 100 locations around the world. This is an opportunity for citizens, scientists, entrepreneurs, educators, and students to help solve challenges about Earth, space exploration and social needs. Over 20 of the challenges are about the environment and cover topics like air quality, imagery, coastal inundation, watersheds, trees, and land cover.
