GeoTec Event 2010

GeoTec Event 2010 is Canada's premier geospatial technology conference. Now in its 24th year, the 2010 event continues the tradition of offering an exceptional program focusing on the latest trends in technology and applications.

GeoTec caters to a wide audience of business experts, senior academics and technology specialists. We consistently develop a program that addresses the concerns of all users of GIS, imagery and geospatial data.

In addition, we identify respected speakers to present high-quality, timely papers of specific interest to residents within and around the Toronto region; we offer a vibrant, informative trade show, showcasing software, hardware and services; and we offer an ideal forum for networking and exchanging ideas.

GeoTec includes general sessions covering a variety of topics, and, in addition to the regular program, we include two keynote presentations from high-profile, knowledgeable members of the community. Also, we offer two panel discussions-one comprised of members of GeoWorld magazine's editorial advisory board, and another roundtable discussion with senior executives who address a specific topic currently relevant in the geospatial technology industry. Next year, our roundtable panel will address the topic of data: their accuracy, availability and dissemination process.
